Abdallah Bou Habib says any such move is out of the question. He was speaking ahead of a visit to Kuwait. That is aimed at delivering Beirut’s response to measures, proposed by regional Arab countries, for easing tensions with Lebanon. The proposals were tabled earlier this week during the Kuwaiti foreign minister’s visit to Beirut. The details of the proposals have not been made public. Back in October, Saudi Arabia and some of its allies severed diplomatic ties with Lebanon. They took the step over criticism of the Saudi-led war on Yemen. The criticism was leveled by TV presenter George Kordahi before he was sworn in as Lebanon’s information minister.
