The Palestinian health ministry says the 27-year-old was shot dead near the city of Qalqilyah. The incident came hours after an Israeli security guard was killed in a shooting on a security post in the occupied West Bank. According to the Israeli military, two people were involved in the attack near the Ariel settlement. Israeli forces are searching for the gunmen. Hamas resistance group hailed the incident, saying this is a response to the attacks on al-Aqsa Mosque.
