North Korea says it has blown up the inter-Korean liaison office on its side of the border.

North Korean media say the office was completely destroyed on Tuesday. That followed tensions on the Korean Peninsula in the past week over propaganda leaflets being sent into North Korea from the South. The North Korean army has said it’s ready to take action against the South to end the hostile propaganda campaign. Pyongyang has also threatened to cut ties with Seoul over the issue. South Korea says it will closely monitor Pyongyang’s moves and will be prepared for all contingencies.
