Iran’s President: Iran ready for talks but not under pressure

Iran’s President Ebrahim Raeisi says the West is seeking to apply pressure during nuclear negotiations. Raeisi added Iran is ready for negotiations but not under pressure. He said applying pressure has never been fruitful in the case of the Islamic Republic. The Iranian president stressed that the interests of the Iranian people is the axis of negotiations with the West, adding that Tehran will not distance itself from the rights of Iranians. Regarding Afghanistan, the president said Iran has always sought peace and stability in that country. He expressed hope that violence and bloodshed will come to an end. Raeisi said Iran supports a government that rises from the will of the Afghan people.
