Iran’s foreign minister has called for regional cooperation, stressing Tehran’s firm stance towards maintaining sustained security in the region. Hossein Amir-Abdollahian made the comment after a meeting with his Russian counterpart in Moscow. He expressed concern regarding the provocative activities of Israel in the region. Regarding the latest developments in the South Caucuses, the Iranian foreign minister said the region could not tolerate greed. Amir-Abdollahian said Iran would never accept changes in regional geopolitics. He noted that both Moscow and Tehran seek an inclusive government in Afghanistan. Amir-Abdollahian said Moscow and Tehran need to expand their cooperation in different areas, mainly in trade and economy.
