Investigations into claims of abuse by British troops in Iraq have closed. Not a single prosecution is being brought. This is when thousands of complaints have been made: how then can there be no accountability? IN this edition of the Spotlight, we will look at how British soldiers and in turn the UK govt. have gotten away with committing crimes in Iraq. Has the Iraqi govt. been pressured not to do so, or was there an agreement like immunity from prosecution preventing justice to be served?
